When you are called to a site and presented with this you don’t need a fluke to prove this network cabling is not working to optimum performance.
However sometimes it may not be quite so evident that the data network cabling is not performing to the correct speeds for the category of installed cable.
Many clients have cabling installed and over the years move desks and equipment around along with the cabling within the data racks and associated patching.
So there are many opportunities in the life of a data network to suffer unintentional disturbance that can result in poor performance.
Network Cabling Testing
Fluke DTX testers are expensive and most IT managers don’t have access to one so it makes sense to call in a specialist data network company to perform the required testing (see below).
On completion of the testing full test results will be provided and any network cabling faults rectified.
